Open Play
All patrons are required to wear BYU Student Wellness issued wristbands while utilizing the facilities.
Current BYU affiliates (BYU students, faculty/staff, retirees, and their dependents) are eligible to obtain wristbands. Come to the Info Desk in the Richards Building (RB 112) to fill out a waiver and receive a facility use wristband.
All activity areas close for University Devotionals.
Notice of temporary closures will be posted on this page.

Rotation Rules
If players show up in excess, we expect the following rotation rules to be honored:
- If you lose, rotate out and let the next team play.
- Winners may stay for 2 games max before they must rotate out & let the next team play.
- Teams who rotate out re-enter the queue to return to play upon the next loss or double win.
We expect participants to self-regulate game rotation during open play. Alternate arrangements are permitted as long as they satisfy all parties who wish to participate. You may ask facility staff to intervene if rotation rules are not being honored.
We hope you like the changes!
The Student Wellness Alliance spent Winter semester 2022 surveying students and making plans to improve the open play experience for everyone. Learn more about these awesome students and the work they're doing at this link.
